Changes in our lives

We found out in October of 2008 that we would be expecting our first child. It was a joyous and nervous discovery!! As soon as we found out, Dustin's protective instincts kicked in and he started watching the things I did :) He decided that it would be better if I stopped wearing heels since "you are so clumsy!" So I went and bought some cute flats and started watching what I was eating and of course doing my fair share of reading. I have been told all of the "best" books to help with my pregnancy and getting me ready for our baby. We are seeing Dr. Phol at Gwinnett Medical in Lawrenceville. He is a great Christian man who is very informative. I had a slight complication in the beginning and saw him every 2 weeks until we hit the 12 week mark. We got to hear her heart beat at our first appointment... 6 weeks!! That is so amazing to us. We got the best gift of all on Christmas Eve, finding out the gender of our child. We both had a hankering that it was going to be a girl and were proved right! It took us a while, but we have decided on Hailey Brook. Our expected due date is June 11, 2009 and have been right on track with every doctors visit. I am planning on trying my hardest to keep you updated with all of our changes! (I promise!) Please check back monthly for updates (that is how often I see the doctor) and pictures. I am planning on putting some pictures of my growing belly on hear soon. We are so excited that God has blessed us with little Hailey and can't wait for the adventure of parenting.
