This Christmas was a very special Christmas. I always look forward to this time of year, but this year was going to be extra fun. We got home on Christmas Eve and made cookies for Santa. I COULD NOT wait to get started on Christmas morning! Of course HB slept in, so by the time she got done eating, I was about to jump out of my skin. We ran and woke daddy up and told him we wanted to see what santa had brought us!! We got the camera out and ready to capture every moment. I sat HB in front of all her presents and she immediately reached out for one, by this point, she knew exactly what to do! She started opening all Santa left. Her main gifts were a 'Jenny Jump Up' and a walker. Unfort the walker didnt work out as planned... she couldn't even touch the ground! haha. So needless to say, the point of a walker wasn't going to work out. I was really upset about this one cause I was so excited about giving it to her because she had enjoyed our friends so much. So I am still on the look out for one :)
I had a fast one pulled over on me this year. Dustin did a great job this year as he does every year. My first present was butcher block cutting board from Paula Dean. I have always wanted one of these, so I was very excited! I also got a beautiful North Face jacket which I always love. But all of a sudden I feel a box in the pocket, and it was jewelry!! Dustin gave me a ring from the "Open Hearts" collection from Kay. He explained to me that it had one big heart and one small heart so that I could always remember Hailey's first Christmas. It was the sweetest and most thoughtful thing!! Felt like I was straight out of a commerical!
I was able to be a little sneaky myself and suprise him with a new 29 gallon fish tank! He was so shocked and surprised :) We all had a great Christmas and it will be one to always remember! Thank you to everyone for our gifts, we have been putting them all to good use :) Only 364 more days to go....
