36 weeks (9 months)

We went for my weekly check up yesterday and got great news. Everything is looking right on track. My tummy measurements were right on schedule and Hailey is getting into 'ready' position. Her heartbeat was fast and happy the doctor said, it is always such a blessing to hear! I got my first measurements and he let me know that I was 50% effaced, which in our terms means that everything is getting ready for Hailey to come into the world. It is an exciting and anxious feeling all at the same time. We can't wait for her arrival, but do have some nerves about us. I think maybe more me, because this is a first experience and a nerve racking one! I just have to know that I have a miracle to look forward to at the end of it all :] We have been getting the nursery ready and even the rest of the house. We have swingers and toys put together, and Dustin has been beautifying the house by painting. So everyone will get to see all of our pretty new rooms when they come to see Hailey! Dustin has been getting on to me about packing my hospital bag, and I am getting to it. It is a big and final step, so I have been taking it all in stride. I plan on getting that done this week and placing the car seat in the car sometime soon as well! We can't wait to meet our beautiful baby girl and share in the experience of parenting!!
